Drake Gets Shook at Manchester Show After Mistaking Fan for His Ex — ICEMAN Energy Activated

Drake gets spooked mid-show in Manchester after mistaking a fan for his ex — and the internet can’t stop talking. With ICEMAN on the way, fans are already guessing which ex might end up on the tracklist.

Drake’s Manchester stop on tour gave fans more than just a fire setlist — it came with an unintentional jump-scare courtesy of his past love life. As the Toronto rapper made his way through the crowd during the show, one fan’s face stopped him dead in his tracks — literally.

In a now-viral clip posted by Kurrco, Drake is seen heading up a staircase when a woman suddenly crosses his path. His reaction? Pure shock. Security quickly stepped in to clear the way, and that’s when Drizzy dropped the now-legendary line:
“I thought we knew each other for a second…I thought that was my ex.”

Yeah. He said that.
And the internet ran with it.

Fans on X (formerly Twitter) didn’t hold back:

“You could see the fear in his eyes lol.”
“He looked like he was ready to abandon the whole concert and dip.”
“Bruh she must’ve put him through it.”

While Drake didn’t say which ex left him shook, his past includes names like Rihanna, Serena Williams, and Johanna Leia. And judging by the reaction, that chapter did not end with good vibes.

But leave it to the 6 God to turn an awkward moment into anticipation. Fans are now speculating that this mysterious ex could end up on his upcoming album, ICEMAN. The project still doesn’t have a release date, but momentum’s building. He’s already dropped two singles — “Which One?” featuring Central Cee and “What Did I Miss?” — with the latter climbing to No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, just behind Alex Warren’s surprise hit “Ordinary.”

On “What Did I Miss?”, Drake gets personal, calling out people who flipped on him after the Kendrick beef and throwing shots at those keeping snakes in their circle:

“How can some people I love / Hang around p*****s who try me?”

It’s that kind of vulnerable aggression that has fans hungry for the full album. He even teased another unreleased track in a recent livestream, only adding fuel to the ICEMAN fire.

So while Drake may have gotten spooked mid-show, don’t be surprised if he spins the trauma into platinum. And if that ex is reading this? She might be track four.

ICEMAN is coming.
